This article needs to be reviewed for copyright violation, much appears to be word for word:

Frankly, it needs to be reviewed for NPOV too. The idea that Hofstadter's book was some sort of polemic against urbanization is the invention of either De Simone or the editor who copied her summary. It's just not there in the text. DarthSquidward (talk) 02:59, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article goes into all the caveats and concessions Hofstadter might have made to potential critics, but I don't recall that as being a major part of the book.
