On Roe and Casey.[edit]

I've noticed that there have been occasional edits to remove Roe, Casey, and a couple other cases from the list of "Other cases that have been denounced to a significant but lesser extents include:" list. Roe and Casey have drawn very significant criticism for a long time among legal commentators for their lack of textual hook, moralizing, and unworkability. Please remember that, just because you, personally, agree with their results does not change their presence among the list of pseudo-anticanon cases. If we include numerous cases that draw significant criticism only from the left side of the US political spectrum (e.g., Dobbs, Bruen, Kennedy, Lopez, Citizens United), then including Roe and Casey is proper as well. If people want to change the criterion for inclusion on the list to drawing significant criticism across the political/philosophical/legal spectrum, then the list needs to be significantly edited down. As it stands, it violates neutrality to remove Roe and Casey. Jbp192 (talk) 17:38, 11 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
