Fair use rationale for Image:Antigua and Barbuda FA.gif[edit]

Image:Antigua and Barbuda FA.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 20:03, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kits[edit]

Hi @Chuckdisi,

The kits have been moved to Wikipedia Commons so as to not display a Gallery on the main page as per Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/National teams.

Why are you continuing to revert this change? What do you prefer about the previous way of displaying this information?

Cheers,

Felixsv7 (talk) 07:38, 15 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, Chuck: please stop re-adding the content that you've already been blocked for adding. Spike 'em (talk) 22:17, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I know a lot about Antiguan football.[edit]

I am an expert in Antiguan football. I don't understand why this guy erased many things it took years to build on this page. What qualifies him over anyone to erase things the people can go to for reference? 197.248.92.154 (talk) 22:24, 14 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Because you've been blocked for disruptive editing already. Spike 'em (talk) 22:44, 14 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
How about you discuss the actual changes? Why does the list of kit manufacturers need a flag next to them? The companies do not represent the countries where they are based. See MOS:FLAG and MOS:DECOR. Spike 'em (talk) 22:54, 14 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
And there was a discussion about the gallery of kits here, which you continue to ignore. The content you added for this is still available on Wiki Commons but is not suitable for this article. You need to learn about WP:CONSENSUS and WP:OWN before you start accusing others of ruining your work. Work submitted to Wikipedia can be edited, used, and redistributed—by anyone Similarly, by submitting your ideas (for article organization, categorization, style, standards, etc.) to Wikipedia, you allow others to challenge and develop them.Spike 'em (talk) 12:48, 15 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Also, there were plenty of attempts by others to discuss it at your old talk page, but you chose to ignore them. Spike 'em (talk) 15:13, 15 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Okang83: rather than start a new section, I'd like to continue the above. Why are flags needed, in contravention of the flag policy linked above? Other pages being wrong is not a reason to spread it to this page. Spike 'em (talk) 21:00, 6 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It is just informative to display the flags. It is not wrong to do so. If anyone wants to look up where these companies come from it is easier for them. Okang83 (talk) 21:04, 6 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
the flags are purely decorative as the companies do not represent the countries they are from. You are past the WP:3RR limit so id suggest you self revert whilst we discuss this, as the article was stable without the flags Spike 'em (talk) 21:14, 6 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You actually are doing what you're accusing me of. Reverting back the things I am trying contribute to the page. You can put on whatever you want but I can't. That is the message you are sending. I would like to work together on the page but I'm not being allowed to. Okang83 (talk) 21:19, 6 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I am the one who stopped reverting and am the one who started the talk page discussion. If people disagree about article content then it needs to be discussed. The article was stable without flags before you started editing, so it should be returned to that state whilst the discussions continue. Please reply to the policy reasons I mentioned rather that just claim to be improving the article. There is no reason for the flags other than for decoration, and this I'd covered by WP:FLAG. Current squad that was changed was the local practice squad and forgot the overseas based players[edit]

Hello, good morning. I saw the change to the latest squad but it wasn't the final team selected but just the local contingency to the team. The overseas based players weren't announced yet at the time of the article. I have the source full squad with both the local and overseas based players for Antigua and Barbuda. The goalscorer for Antigua (Ashley Nathaniel-George) who is based overseas wasn't even on the latest squad. DadliKing81 (talk) 11:49, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
