Speedy Deletion Discussion

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because Antiquus is a unique sound not commonly found in Canada. Canadian metal in recent years tends to shy away from the power metal genre, and this band is an example of power metal with considerable good feedback from the public. Coverage of Canadian based Power Metal bands on wikipedia is quite limited, but this band is one of the power metal bands originating from Canada that is known enough to write an encyclopedia article about. The concept albums they write are unique from even bands outside of Canada. One of the reasons I added this article was because it illustrated a power metal band that originated from Canada that has released multiple albums with considerably good feedback. The other reason would be that the concepts in their albums are worth discussing in an encyclopedic manner.--Vortiene (talk) 16:27, 10 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Can you find anything written about them in a reliable source that you can use as a reference? If so, please include it. Otherwise, Antiquus doesn't appear to meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines for bands. PK T(alk) 16:47, 10 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
