English name[edit]

the english authors use Antonio Barcelo to talk about him not Barceló. Olecrab (talk) 18:32, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Actually the norm is to use the original spelling. Justin talk 23:08, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
False, the norm is to use the english spelling hence Ho Chi Minh instead of Hồ Chí Minh and William the conqueror instead of Guillaume le Conquérant. you don't konw what you're talking about english scholar use Antonio Barcelo not the spanish spelling, please refrain your vandalism. Olecrab (talk) 09:40, 8 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No it isn't. See Wikipedia:MOSBIO. See also the essay WP:BRD and also WP:3RR. Justin talk 09:52, 8 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Why does this norm apply to certain articles and not to others? also look inside they don't use the spanish spelling but the english - and the french do the same translating this name in their own language in the old newspapers. Olecrab (talk) 10:00, 8 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
