Comment. Willing to be convinced, but at the moment I can't see any evidence that the painter is the primary topic. Page view stats from last month shows 156 views for the painter, compared to the slightly higher 160 for the poet. Jenks24 (talk) 11:03, 7 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose - even if the poet had only 30% of the grok.se stats and 30% of Google books etc. the disamb works for all users. If this move went ahead and then someone came from an improperly disambed article to the painter they'd still be following a disamb hatnote I know, but disamb works better for all.
