Communications

I work in communications for Aon and have been tasked with updating this page. I have made a number of edits to the current page in a word document and would like to make them to the actual Wikipedia page however as this can be viewed as a conflict of interest, I would like to work with this group to ensure that I am following all necessary steps. My edits are very objective and have reference links. They contain no flowery, marketing language. I am wondering how I should go about editing the page. Can I just go into the actual page and start editing? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. KEone24 (talk) 19:55, 11 March 2013 (UTC)

Hello, KEone24, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for disclosing your potential conflict of interest. Please read WP:Conflict of interest, our guideline concerning potential conflicts of interest.
If your proposed changes are neutral and sourced, you can either edit the article itself or make suggestions on this page and other editors will add them to the article. Please keep in mind that "work submitted to Wikipedia can be edited, used, and redistributed—by anyone" (as the disclaimer at the top of the edit box says). — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 03:10, 12 March 2013 (UTC)

As I go through the article, the Operations section feels a bit out of place. Since it only specifies two countries that Aon has a presence in, I am thinking the section should be removed. Would this be okay with you? KEone24 (talk) 21:40, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
