General style

This reads like a brochure. A-giau 07:38, 5 August 2005 (UTC)

It still reads like a brochure. Instead of being a proper article, it's a series of announcements about the company, presumably culled from press releases. I've added a cleanup tag on top to draw more attention to this. 82.71.0.229 (talk) 10:24, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

Objectifying

This section seems to have been altered while I was on holiday. However, the original page (with plenty of corrections) has been restored as I do not think that the far less objectify complete rewrite made much sense. The professionalism of Apax has never been in question, nor does this article in any way say they have done wrong, and thus a 'preppy' rewrite was out of order, especially by a numbered user. Does anyone have any suggestions for this section, however? I've been over Apax's website, but I doubt we need all 340 companies they own listed (or do we?). Also, does anyone know any bigger examples of companies they own? I remember the Rover contraversy and I read about them buying Travelex, but does anyone know any big other names they own or have recently bought? Cheers, Nick Kerr on 9/8/2005 at 11.31 (GMT)

Operations

The article says they have operations in "Hong Kong, China, India, United Kingdom, United States, Europe, and Israel". Isn't the UK in Europe and what other Hong Kong, other than the one in China, is well known. Wouldn't a listing of "Europe, United States, India, Israel, and Hong Kong" be better since that would be in roughly size order? Mbisanz 00:34, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
