Last few posts in edit hist. imply that people don't agree on the capitalisation in the title. Yet there seems to be no discussion. I suggest the capitalisation is discussed here prior to the edits in case of disagreement. --Intinn 11:57, 5 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It has 0 to do with the title, its entirely User:DickyRobert spamming his warez groups websites, and deleting the userlist as revenge for us deleting the article on his warez group. Please, do yourself a huge favor and stay out of this, you'll regret getting involved, trust me.  ALKIVAR 12:05, 5 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Appreciated, but I call it like I see it, and not afraid to come crashing down from my high horse every now and then :)

Member list was unverifiable and useless

[edit]

I've removed an unverifiable list of pseudonyms derived from a .nfo file purporting to have been produced by this group. There's no way to verify the list and they do not identify anyone anyway, being pseudonyms. It had no encyclopedic value and could only serve as self-advertisement to people claiming to be one of those on the list. --Tony Sidaway|Talk 18:35, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The list is most certainly verifiable ... i've got about 500 or so .nfo files from aPC releases including this information. As for being on the list... that has absolutely nothing to do with the reason I added it to the article. The concept of wikipedia is to document and give information is it not? This is more information about said subject, hence its inclusion. Feel free to discuss this, but your removal of said content is to my eyes merely giving in to our repeated vandal.  ALKIVAR 20:40, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Oh I've no idea what the vandal has been doing; my motives are concern that the information isn't encyclopedic. It's basically just a list of pseudonyms, none of which are identifiable. We don't even know whether these people really exist. The one identifiable person involved, Mark Shumaker, was apparently known as markalso, a name that does not appear on the member list provided. It's useless. --Tony Sidaway|Talk 21:02, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Oh well if your going to go on that grounds ... I specifically posted from an .nfo from far enough back as to not constitute a legal threat to anyone on the list. (Beyond the 5 year statue of limitations to file for copyright infringment in the US at least)... But I can post a member list from when I stopped associating with the group in mid-2001 (Markalso had just become active then). I assure you all these people in the 1999 version (the one on the page) exist... I could give phone numbers (for most), email addresses (for all) and real names (for most) of those members (this data was current at the time of said list sometime in 1999), of course most of this contact data is obsoleted. I chose not to originally include real names due to privacy concerns... there is no privacy concern over a pseudonym.  ALKIVAR 22:28, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
ALIVAR, I am sure that noone wants you to post that information. Be responsible. I think the member list is inappropriate, and if you were part of the group, then you should know that as well. --slaman 22:28, 13 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I also think that the member list is pointless and unverified. What possible purpose can there be in a list of pseudonyms? Especially when there's no possible way of confirming or falsifying anything in the list... Jim whitson 13:58, 20 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
