Nice page - I have added some refs although I didnt know where the last three refs referred to in the text. There was no census in 1801 ... is this 1901? Victuallers 15:01, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

1801 census may be correct: Census Act 1800. --Snigbrook (talk) 17:36, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merge school[edit]

I have suggested that Sir John Moore Church of England Primary School should be merged here as a non-notable primary which doesn't pass WP:GNG, as per WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES. Any comments appreciated. CalzGuy (talk) 12:02, 15 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose This is no run-of-the-mill school. Its age and architectural qualities both make it notable. What other primary school has received six million pounds from a heritage fund? S a g a C i t y (talk) 22:39, 9 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose As a former grammar school (and more than 300 years old) this is notable enough for a separate article.--Johnsoniensis (talk) 18:30, 14 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Closed, given clear uncontested arguments not to merge. Klbrain (talk) 14:45, 12 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
