From the article:

"Funnily, a street in Lausanne, named after the town (Rue d'Apple), contains one of the stores specialising in Apple computers."

The name of the village is not "Apple". ;-) -- User:Docu

In Lausanne, the street (Rue Dapples, not rue d'Apple) was named for Edouard Dapples, a Swiss politician, who was president of the National Council of Switzerland in 1860 and 1861. SalomonCeb (talk) 17:10, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Obviously because of its name this page might attract some innaccurate or vandalistic trivia edits. There is no such thing as the "Chilled Apple Soup Festival" btw; and since Apples is in a French-speaking part, apples (the fruit) would be called "pommes" and the play-on-words doesn't translate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Don Durandal (talkcontribs) 12:40, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
