Aprovecho is actually a pretty significant NGO, well known across the world for their stove designs, which get used in many developing countries. I'd like to add more to the page over the coming weeks, and hope others will too. just check them out in a Google search and you'll see.Tiel123 (talk) 12:44, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've added some info about the Rocket stove, which Aprovecho designed, and already has a page on wikipedia.Tiel123 (talk) 13:02, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

And some more info about their stoves and stove testing. There's a whole stack of links to publications on their website ( http://www.aprovecho.org/web-content/publications/pub1.htm ) but I've not got time right now to go through them and add detail to the wikipedia page, so hopefully I've put enough in to convince people that this is worthy of inclusion.Tiel123 (talk) 13:17, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Split Article

[edit]

I think there should be an article for Aprovecho Research Center as it is a different entity. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wiseoleman17 (talkcontribs) 07:39, 13 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Copyvio?

[edit]

Hi, I've translated this article into Japanese. However, I noticed the sentence which begins with "For 29 years ..." is exactly same as Aprovecho Research Center's official Web page, expect now they said "For over 30 years". Because I found copyright mark and "All rights reserved" phrase at bottom of the Web page, I suspect this article has copyright problem. This edit is a root of the problem. But I'm not familiar with English Wikipedia so please deal this matter if necessary. --210.253.248.151 (talk) 15:28, 27 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
