Added the advert tag as this article seems like it is written like an advertisement/non-neutral point of view (in my opinion anyways). 74.214.250.169 (talk) 09:22, 1 January 2010 (UTC)

Agreed. It needs to be revised. Nolte (talk) 02:01, 8 October 2010 (UTC)

Removed the entire "Company Events" section because it was primarily filled with marketing verbiage and was too self-serving and written like an advertisement for the company. Smmgeek (talk) 17:28, 31 March 2011 (UTC)

Peer 1 Hosting and Cogeco Data Services combined to create Cogeco Peer 1. I (Jane) propose edits to incorporate up-to-date and relevant company information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JS2020 (talkcontribs) 16:23, 9 November 2016 (UTC)

Merge ServerBeach here?

The AfD for ServerBeach closed as no consensus, with several editor indicating that that company, which was acquired by PEER 1, may not be notable enough for an article. Proposing to merge it here. Pcap ping 03:17, 28 January 2010 (UTC)

Agreed. It needs to be merged. From what I can tell they're operationally close enough for ServerBeach to be considered a service or product offered by PEER 1. I'm worried that without the content from both articles and revisions to satisfy the avert tag there won't be enough content for the article to be more than a stub. Nolte (talk) 02:01, 8 October 2010 (UTC)

Agree with merging since I have seen that ServerBeach is now a part of Peer 1 since the company acquired it. Re-posted the merger flag on Peer 1's page. Smmgeek (talk) 20:50, 4 May 2011 (UTC)

Remove flags?

I removed the entire "Company Events" section, which was written like an advertisement for the company. Seems to me that this wiki page has been revised by several contributers, and it is not self-promoting anymore, perhaps we can consider removing the flags.Smmgeek (talk) 17:17, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

I agree, removing now since there are many more references and the marketing references have been removed. PacificJuls —Preceding undated comment added 23:07, 18 April 2011 (UTC).

Possible COI

Anon contributing IP resolves to van-corp-fw-1a.peer1.net. Submission history makes it read more and more like an advert and does not contain much encyclopedic info/value. Consider WP:COI issue. Srobak (talk) 19:48, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
