Naming conventions
This page has had a few too many names; we really need to decide on a proper one. I moved it to Ar nosurge as a temporary solution. But ultimately, we need to decide on one of the following (and have the Ciel nosurge page match the naming scheme):
- Ar nosurge
- Surge Concerto: Ar nosurge
- Surge Concerto: Ar nosurge - Umareizuru Hoshi e Inoru Uta
- Ar nosurge: Umareizuru Hoshi e Inoru Uta
- I'm unsure about translating the subtitle. Going by other Japanese exclusives, it seems best to leave it untranslated.
My vote is for Ar nosurge: Umareizuru Hoshi e Inoru Uta, but I don't strongly oppose putting Surge Concerto in front. I just ask that you avoid using a colon twice.
- Addendum: "Ar no Surge" is not listed here because the official websites for Ciel nosurge and Ar nosurge use "nosurge". That is, "Ar no Surge" is an incorrect spelling spread primarily by gaming journalism.
(Also, as a personal aside, I would feel better about the navigation box changes I made if I got a little feedback. I haven't changed the name yet in case someone has a major issue with it. Take a look at it here.) Craven Lunatic (talk) 09:24, 4 February 2014 (UTC)
- I'm fine with number 1, 2 or 4; I would prefer not having three levels of titling (AAA: BBB - CCC), however, so I'm not too keen on number 3, which is very verbose. As for the previous title: the page was originally named "Ar no Surge" because that was how a number of English-language references, including Gematsu and Shilliconera, called it. Since you've made a convincing argument that it's incorrect, I'm not opposed to the current title of "Ar nosurge". --benlisquareT•C•E 11:07, 4 February 2014 (UTC)
- Ah, thanks for reminding me; I need to summarize why "Ar no Surge" isn't a good option. I would also prefer to not have three levels of titles, but it's not unheard of. The Phoenix Wright series would be a set of such examples. Craven Lunatic (talk) 21:15, 4 February 2014 (UTC)
