Scope of the article[edit]
It seems odd to have an article on "Arab" archery that includes pre-Arab practices in Northern Africa. There is also nothing very distinctive about the thumb draw, probably derived from Turkish or other Central Asian ethnicities well afer the battle of Manzikert. Merge from Camel archer[edit]
It was proposed at Talk:Camel cavalry#Merge proposal with Camel archer that Camel archer would be better moved here. That sounds very reasonable. Opinions welcome. Klbrain (talk) 10:36, 5 October 2019 (UTC)
