Title Change[edit]

Need to capitalise the 'P' in Arabesque Partners (display / page name)- unsure how to do this. Help much appreciated. I've tried the {{DISPLAYNAME: conversation but cannot figure it out. {Harriet Allner (talk) 09:13, 16 April 2015 (UTC)}[reply]

Updated Information[edit]

Some information on this page is incorrect or not updated:

  • Company title is incorrect - now just 'Arabesque', so 'Partners' needs to be removed. [1]
  • Office in Singapore as well as London and Frankfurt [2]
  • Comment: There is a cell in the infobox for headquarters, which is typically one city. Please advise which of these three cities listed in your proposal is the company's HQ's.
@Spintendo: The HQ is London. Can all 3 locations (London, Frankfurt and Singapore) be mentioned on the beginning section of the page, please. Emily Macpherson (talk) 10:23, 8 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • No information on Board Members - need to add Georg Kell, Chairman of Arabesque and Founding Executive Director of the UN Global Compact, Barbara Krumsiek, Former CEO and President of Calvert Investments, John Ruggie, Berthold Beitz Professor in Human Rights and International Affairs at the Harvard Kennedy School, Dr Carolyn Woo, Former CEO and President of Catholic Relief Services and Yolanda Kakabadse, President of WWF [3]
  • Arabesque won two awards at Sustainable Investment Awards; Award for Innovation (non-fund) and Best ESG Investment Fund for their Systematic Fund [4]

check Partially implemented

  1. There is already an Arabesque (company) Wikipedia page in use. To change the name of your company, it should be decided upon how that name should be displayed, taking care not to select a name already in use. Please advise.
  2. Text was found in the article to be insufficiently paraphrased and has been removed, per: WP:CLOP. The text in question is highlighted here.
  3. Once this text has been sufficiently paraphrased, it may be re-incorporated into the article.
  4. The chairman and board members and have been added to the infobox.

  1. Do not worry about changing the name then, thank you.
  2. Am I allowed to paraphrase this text myself or do you have to paraphrase it for me, in the risk of conflict of interest?
  3. If I can paraphrase the text where shall I post it so it can be re-incorporated?
  4. Thank you. Can you please add Yolanda Kakabadse, President of WWF, as well?
  5. Can the most up-to-date awards be added to the page as mentioned previously? Thank you.

Information still not updated[edit]

  • Please add the most recent awards - Arabesque won two awards at Sustainable Investment Awards; Award for Innovation (non-fund) and Best ESG Investment Fund for their Systematic Fund [1]
  • There are 3 headquarters - Can all 3 locations (London, Frankfurt and Singapore) be mentioned on the beginning section of the page, please
  • Can you please add Yolanda Kakabadse, President of WWF, to the list of board members?
  • Text has been removed. Advice is needed on whether I can paraphrase this myself and then an editor can add it in for me?
  • Arabesque also launched S-Ray™ in April 2017 [2]

Reply[edit]

  1. All three HQ's are listed in the infobox.
  2. Ms. Kakabadse's name is listed in the infobox.
  3. You may paraphrase the text and submit it here as an edit request at your earliest convenience.
  4. The awards section was removed, per WP:PEACOCK.
  5. The reference for S-Ray is dated April 2017 and does mention it as being new, but it does not claim it as being "launched".

Reply[edit]

  1. Thank you for the information on the infoboxes.
  2. Thank you adding Ms Kakabadse
  3. I will submit the text again next, thank you.
  4. The awards can be written as purely the facts instead: Arabesque was nominated at the Sustainable Investment Awards 2017 and received the 'Award for Innovation (non-fund) and 'Best ESG Investment Fund' for their Systematic Fund. [1] The Global Investor Group awarded Arabeque Asset Management the SRI Manager of the Year 2015 [2] There is no puffery in those sentences, they are facts.
  5. This is a more accurate description of the launch of S-Ray - [3]

Text has now been paraphrased[edit]

Please remove the paragraph in the section 'Organisation' that starts with 'In June 2015, Harvard academic Dr Robert Eccles was appointed as the first chairman of Arabesque.'

Replace that paragraph with the following paraphrased text:

In July 2017, Georg Kell was appointed as Chairman of Arabesque.[4] Georg is the founder and former Executive Director of the United Nations Global Compact. [5] Mr Kell discussing his appointment as Chairman - “I am greatly looking forward to taking on the Chairmanship of Arabesque, as the firm continues to grow as a global leader in sustainable investment. I would like to express my deep gratitude to Professor Bob Eccles for his significant contribution to Arabesque over the past two years as Chairman, and wish him every success.” [6]

Reply 09-FEB-2017[edit]

 Done

  1. Mr. Kell is listed in the infobox as Chairman.
  2. The paragraph in question has been removed.
  3. Additional content which was either unsourced or constituted editorial content was also removed.
  4. A quote from an acceptance speech is not paraphrasing, while the acceptance speech itself, made by a company executive newly installed in their position, is not germane to the article per guidance suggestions at WP:NOTROUTINE and WP:ROTM.
Regards, Spintendo ᔦᔭ 18:23, 9 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Spintendo:

  1. Please add the other sentences about Mr Kell's appointment, without the acceptance speech, then. Thank you
  2. The addition of the launch of S-Ray also needs to be added as does the awards in factual form - as you can see above.
