Arakkuzha,Mylakomp,Kothamangalam,Kadamattom all form a ancient syrian christian centre in the Muvattupuzha-Kothamangalam region. the people here also includes a lot of families migrated centuries before from thrissur district and malabar during persecution times(Tipu saltan). the civilization of syrian christians of Pala, athirampuzha etc trace from thali kottay, thazhathangady, kottayam. we are unrelated. although, many syrians from Pala areas desperately wants to believe the catholics of kothamngalam-muvattupuzha are the same as pala. we are old syrian christians and we are here for long. our civilization is tolerant and separate from that of pala kottayam etc. even up to thodupuzha, the catholics of kothamanglam diocese lived for centuries until thekkar(pala, changancsry) immigrated to the areas changing the local culture and slang to the meenachil slang. there is a proverb here in Muvattupuzha-Kothamangalam areas: "ഐക്കരനാടന്‍ തെണ്ടി, മീനച്ചിക്കാരന്‍ നാറി"(Aikkarnadan beggers and Meenachikkaran uncultured rowdy". that tells about you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 27.97.21.127 (talk) 05:27, 10 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
