DYK Nomination

When she was nominated to head NIST at the age of 34, her resume was circulated amongst the staff. It was so thin, her third-from-the-last job on it was grad student. The two succeeding jobs that supposedly qualified her for the position leading a government lab were 2 years as a program manager at DARPA and a year acting for her boss.
