Merge Pinetum into this page

[edit]

I'm proposing to merge Pinetum into this article because it's just a definition and a "pinetum" isn't any different from an "arboretum" except that it has conifers, so there isn't much info to add to the pinetum article. SCHZMO 19:18, 4 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'd agree. Some pinetums are already mentioned on the arboretum page. - MPF 21:26, 4 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
For readers: this merge seems to have now been carried out. --Drake Wilson 07:03, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Group 'later examples' by continent

[edit]

There are a fair few now so it seems a good idea to group these by continent. If no one has any objection I'll do that in a few days. PRL42 (talk) 13:52, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Now completed. PRL42 (talk) 09:26, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Which examples?

[edit]

Which examples are being chosen for this article? --DThomsen8 (talk) 02:14, 22 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think there is any particular criterion. I suppose that if people keep adding more then at some point we would need to consider some way to limit the number before someone points us to "WP:WikiIsNotAnArboretumGuide". PRL42 (talk) 14:52, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
