Hi there,
I recently pasted a new version of this page from my sandbox; I adapted much of what was already here, but I added a great deal of information from "A Preservation Plan for St. Louis" written by the city of St. Louis and the St. Louis Community Development Agency (see http://stlouis.missouri.org/government/heritage/). I also will add references from A Guide to the Architecture of St. Louis and a few other books I have about. I noticed this page hasn't been edited in a few months, so I hope I'm not stepping on anyone's toes. There's lots more to do, so don't consider this a finished product (like everything else on WP).
