Stubbed[edit]

Converted to stub, as this has been a long-standing dustbin of unreferenced and hoax material. A quick Google suggests sporting and archaeological interest. How about exploring that? - with sources, please. Tearlach 17:03, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As was alluded to by previous contributers Ardcath was and always will be a byword for meanness and good old fashioned snobbery. New immigrants have proved not to be immune to the treacherous perfidity that has festered there for well on 60 years. Local folklore tells of intercine rivalry of epic proportions. A cursory ramble about its many boreens will be remembered for the slight movement of curtains...echoeing back to an earlier time in our nations sorry past.It is very sad that Wikipedia is only interested in dry facts. It has been long known that where there is a bit of juice to add to a story the lesson therein will be more easily remembered, eg, the life and times of one CJ Haughey. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.71.19.206 (talk) 23:23, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
