CMT episodes

[edit]

It looks like CMT is running different episodes than the nationally syndicated ones. Does anyone know what exactly the deal is with them? Are they exclusive to CMT, or are they going to run in syndication later? -Joltman (talk) 10:45, 23 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

My understanding is that the CMT episodes will run in syndication later, and that CMT went 'out of order' to showcase the country-celeb episodes (Big Kenny, Bucky Covington, etc.) right off the bat. -Gongshow 23:44, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merge?

[edit]

Is there some reason why this warrants its own separate article? With only a short lead section and only one section in the body of this article, I could easily merge it into its own section on the Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? (U.S. game show). Deal or No Deal has the same thing. WikiLubber (talk) 12:52, 20 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Deal or No Deal may have the same thing, but we may consider having a consensus regarding this. MegastarLV (talk) 19:22, 31 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Date of last airing

[edit]

The show was cancelled on March 24, but that doesn't mean that its final episode aired on that date. I doubt that March 24 was the end date, especially since it was a Thursday. Can someone please find out when the last episode aired?76.126.138.82 (talk) 04:18, 22 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"I am not smarter..." versus "I am smarter..."

[edit]

It's true that I can't yet find a reliable Internet source. But several contestants, including one who won an impressive $50,000 on the second show that reaired on CMT the night of September 16-17, 2011 (moments ago), still had to declare: "I am not smarter than a 5th grader." It's quite clear that one had to answer every question correctly, not just the bonus, to say "I am smarter than a 5th grader." — Glenn L (talk) 05:24, 17 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Merge proposal

[edit]

I am considering merging this article with Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? (U.S. game show). It's basically the same show in the same country, just aired on two different broadcasts (network & syndication), making it unnecessary to create a new article exclusively for the syndicated airing. MegastarLV (talk) 19:34, 31 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Support: Same show, same country, just 2 separate broadcasts (like Wheel of Fortune (U.S. game show), which also had it's article merged for the same reason). MegastarLV (talk) 19:34, 31 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Support: Per MegastarLV, all other game shows on two different broadcasts (except Deal or No Deal (U.S. game show) and Deal or No Deal (U.S. syndicated game show)) have two different articles. Seeing that no one has challenged, or replied to, this proposal, I'll go ahead and complete the merge if no one replies immediately. --Bentvfan54321 (talk) 01:49, 12 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
