This article should be removed

[edit]

Hello

I reviewed this article and I think it should not be on Wikipedia because of following reasons:

1- Notability: This article is not notable and also important enough to be on Wikipedia. He is just an ordinary writer.

2- Lack of reference:

- The books that article mentions the author has written do not have reference.

- All the references are in Persian except 2 of them.

- Reference links refer to irrelative webpages.

So I move the page to draft and wait for some admins to decide if it should be back or not.

Why this article should not be removed

[edit]

Hello

I found it really unjust to call Arman Arian an ordinary writer.

Arman Arian is not for sure an ordinary Persian writer. He is a distinguished young author of more than thirty books of high importance while he is only 35. Here are some reasons for his works’ notability:

1- He is the youngest winner of the annual prize of “The Book of The Year of the Islamic Republic of Iran”, the most significant book festival in Iran.

2- He is the winner of the honorary diploma in the 31st IBBY World Congress in Copenhagen, Denmark by the International Board on Books for Young people 2008, for the book the Persians and I.

3- He is the writer of the first series of novels based on Shahname, the most significant ancient epic and mythical Persian book. He has received all the national awards of the year for this trilogy while he was only 24.

4- He is the writer of the first series of novels based on Avesta, the Zoroastrian Holy Book.

5- He is considered as the first Persian modern fantasy writers whose writings inspire new generations of writers in the field of fantasy literature in Iran.

6- His books are constantly selected as the best books of the year by the Children and Young Adult Book Council of Iran.

7- Only one of these achievements would be enough for an English-language writer to be known and praised internationally. It would be unfair to neglect the long list of Arian’s works and awards only because of the marginalization of Persian language.

So what is needed is probably to add and edit more references which I will try to manage.
