Nonono, when that film was produced, Mr. Assinger was a ski racer who wasn't very prominent ("insiders" did know him, because he competed in World Cup Races with "undistinguished success", and he was very often injured). His first win came in December 1992. Regarding to "Gayagent Arminass", it's sheer coincidence. Skiscout (talk) 20:29, 8 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Dear Sir, I would like to cit. the German Wikipedia (and knowing by myself): His parents lived in Graz at that time because his father had an employment there. He was a constabulary (or police) (his name is Ignaz and he is still living - and Armin has two first names: Armin Ignaz). Armin Assinger did also start a professional career as a police but he did quit when he got an engagement from the ORF. --Skiscout (talk) 18:17, 9 January 2017 (UTC).[reply]
