Proposed merger[edit]

I don't agree at all. This corps had an existence in its own right and should remain as a separate article. -- Necrothesp 12:27, 21 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Firstly, Necrothesp is correct that the ALC was a corps in its own right - other corps which were amalgamated into the AGC have their own pages, so why shouldn't this? Secondly, the Legal Branch, like the Royal Military Police, has retained its own cap badge, and so retains a degree of individuality from the AGC. Hammersfan 02/06/06, 14.55 BST

New possible merger?[edit]

I stumbled upon an article that was created two days ago at Army Legal sevices Branch. It looks like good (albeit unreferenced) information. I was unable to move it to Army Legal Services or Army Legal Services Branch because both of those articles are redirects here, and the directions at WP:MOVE seemed to indicate that an article couldn't be moved over a redirect to a different article. Since the Army Legal Corps seems to have been renamed to Army Legal Services, it seems to me that it would make sense to merge the ALC article over to ALS, and have that article established at Army Legal Services with this one becoming a redirect. (Disclaimer: I have no background knowledge whatsoever about this topic.) Does anyone have input? Propaniac 16:12, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
