Genre
[edit]"Rock Band" Thanks. Now, can someone tell me what kind of rock? 65.100.147.48 10:52, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
I don't see the grunge influences; just calling it "rock," vague as it is, may be better than a misleading categorization. If anything specific to be said I would personally think them to be hard rock with classic rock roots. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.232.119.248 (talk) 14:54, 1 April 2007 (UTC).
- I haven't seen sources refer to them as anything beyond "rock", "rock supergroup", or "90's rock". Since only the first one is really recognized as a genre on Wikipeda, I don't know what else I could rightfully put except for the equally vague "alternative rock" or something. [edit]- https://consequenceofsound.net/2010/08/getting-vocal-with-stone-temple-pilots-dean-deleo/ - Interesting, never heard this before, but apparently this STP track was initially conceived during Army of Anyone. Just leaving a note for now, as I'm not entirely sure how to implement this into the article. Sergecross73 msg me 14:10, 2 November 2017 (UTC)
