Main cast and characters[edit]

Wanted to ask if we can add games into this section? It is confirmed that Ana de la Reguera came back as Maria Cruz. --Derjenigederzukunftseht Derjenigederzukunftseht (talk) 12:41, 10 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Derjenigederzukunftseht - no, the cast section is not for people who appear in games.--DisneyMetalhead (talk) 00:40, 6 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

"Related short films"... not really[edit]

There continues to be a number of 'related short films' that keep being added to this page. I have asked the editor to discuss this here, but do not see such a discussion. I have removed this section, which is in no way really "related" - to allow discussion here. My arguments would be this:

The short films are in all reality bonus features of a film, to which this franchise is a 'spiritual-sequel' to. The ONLY reason that Dawn of the Dead is listed on this article is due to a consensus that was reached after lengthy discussions where it was realized/decided that though Dawn may or may not be in the same "universe"; Army of the Dead is classified as a spiritual sequel to it.

Due to the facts that they are minimally related to Dawn of the Dead (many of them are simply bonus, making-of featurettes), and Dawn is tangentially related to this franchise -- these shorts do not belong on this page. Other thoughts?--DisneyMetalhead (talk) 20:29, 15 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Well the related shirt films actually weren't making-of features. One was about Andy's life until he bacame a zombie. You know, they guy who was on the other building in the film. Other was an in-universe news broadcast, the one seen on the TV in the film itself. A D the last one was a mockumentary. So tbh they're connected. I at least think we should include them if we're including Dawn. But that's just me. Derjenigederzukunftseht (talk) 18:28, 13 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
User:Derjenigederzukunftseht; as stated previously. Those three bonus features that are such on the blu-ray disc belong on the Dawn of the Dead article. They do not belong on this Army of the Dead franchise article. As this page is BARELY related to Dawn of the Dead, it is not at all connected to the bonus features of said film. For example: A "mockumentary" is not at all connected to anything. By definitely it is a mock(fake)-documentary. What about that warrants its inclusion here?--DisneyMetalhead (talk) 18:36, 15 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Support Group of Thieves[edit]

This "advertisement"(?) was recently released as a promotional for various Netflix media. An editor attempted including it in the "short film" section. Though we need a better source, to clarify - it seems like the best place for it would be "In other media" where it can be explained that this is an ad for Netflix and not a defining connection between 3 very different franchises. What are other editors thoughts and arguments? Can anyone find any reliable sourses?--DisneyMetalhead (talk) 18:36, 15 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The character Dieter[edit]

Since he appeared in both the first film and the prequel should he appear in the sequel will that mean he gets his own Wikipedia page? I’m new at most of these things especially how a character from a franchise deserves a Wikipedia page. 0Detail-Attention215 (talk) 19:52, 14 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The practice of giving character's their own wikipedia pages is not a regular practice. I have never understood it although obviously they are in circulation.--DisneyMetalhead (talk) 18:28, 15 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Rebel Moon[edit]

Zack Snyder confirmed that Army of the Dead & Rebel Moon are in the same universe, should the page be renamed and also have Rebel Moon in it? Source: https://www.comingsoon.net/guides/news/1394497-zack-snyder-rebel-moon-army-of-the-dead-same-universe
