High Art??[edit]

is it correct to call them as such?because the therm arthouse it kinda of implies that those games are high art,but a lot of people don't even consider games as such. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 177.65.154.90 (talk) 03:13, 17 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestions for Examples[edit]

Would Oxenfree and The Beginners Guide apply to this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.102.180.134 (talk) 22:33, 19 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

That depends on whether you can find any support for their inclusion in the form of reliable sources explicitly describing the games as "art games" or "arthouse games". Otherwise, it might be a better idea to add them with appropriate sourcing to this similar list. -Thibbs (talk) 12:05, 20 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Proposal: Move/remove list[edit]

I think it would be best to shift the "List of art games" section to its own article just like we did with the list at Video games as an art form. The list is rather long and tends to bloat the article, and it was just tagged as excessively "intricate detail" and "too long to read and navigate comfortably". Shifting the list to its own article should narrow down the article to just the meat of the topic. It should be fairly easy to accomplish just like last time. Are there any objections? -Thibbs (talk) 22:44, 4 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Strongly support This article has big problems (bloated, 100K length, on the edge of original research and so on). Spinning off the list will help enormously. Good idea. ThatMontrealIP (talk) 04:44, 5 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

checkY Seeing no objections, I've implemented the move. -Thibbs (talk) 00:22, 9 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I've added the appropriate talk tags for history tracking purposes. --Masem (t) 00:33, 9 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
