Not an anthropologist or archaeologist

[edit]

Custance was not an anthropologist or archaeologist. He obtained his PhD in physiology. Creationists publications sometimes erroneously claim he had a PhD in anthropology, this was not the case. I have corrected this. A useful source which clarifies this. [1] Skeptic from Britain (talk) 20:28, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

There is conflict here with the information stated on Custance's page. Was he a physiologist? You state he had a PhD in Physiology, yet under Early life and Career it states he obtained a PhD in Education (according to Ronald L. Numbers, 2006). Skår87 (talk) 09:07, 25 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Part 2: His bio on the website of the Arthur C. Custance Centre states that he was unable to complete his PhD in Anthropology, but went on to complete a PhD in Education in 1959. I'm not finding anything about him having been a physiologist; only that he took some university courses in physiology. Skår87 (talk) 09:20, 25 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
