By 'South Stockton-on-Tees' do you mean South Stockton which today is known as Thornaby-on-Tees? Given that is true was the works that of Head Wright Son (or precusors), later known as Head Wrightson at their Teesdale Works? 82.38.63.64 (talk) 23:43, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! The source says Richardsons South Stockton Steelworks. Maybe the article should drop the 'South' to avoid any confusion.
