Re: Beuys's felt suit mass-produced: It was made in 1970 in an edition of 100 plus 10 hors commerce, by René Block, Berlin. (Werkverzeichnis Schellmann.) What's the source of the "mass-produced for years" info? —Wegesrand (talk) 12:34, 21 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Interested in taking on this page

[edit]

Hi there, I'm interested in enhancing this page and addressing some of the existing issues. I'm quite new to editing Wikipedia, so happy to take guidance and suggestions, and to discuss this interesting topic. ---ProtkaJ (talk) 20:12, 11 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

To start with, I'm conflicted about the title. I'm not sure if "Artist's multiple," "artist multiple," or "artists' multiples" is best. One sees all options in the literature. I'll just leave it for now. --ProtkaJ (talk) 20:13, 11 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The history section implies that multiples began in the 20th century by Western artists. This is not true. Chinese did woodblock printing long before. The first etchings and drypoints were made in the 15th century. Rembrandt made advances in the technique. 24.236.92.77 (talk) 14:52, 1 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
