"However, on 28 December 2014, Channel 2 released video footage in which Ovadia Yosef attacked Deri, calling him a wicked man and a thief"

This is not correct. Rabbi Yosef said in that video that if Deri remained in this position, people would say he is a wicked man and a thief. It should be corrected with the accurate quote — Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.191.232.71 (talk) 17:56, 7 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Would someone mind moving this to Aryeh Deri? I tried to do that (because it's the most common spelling) but accidentally put the extra I in it. I've tried to work out how to submit a request for an admin to do it (because it won't let me do it again), but guess I'm not savy enough for this kind of thing.--RM (Be my friend) 18:13, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Please make the necessary changes in the article. —Ynhockey (Talk) 07:19, 30 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

"convicted criminal" in the first sentence? Or not.

@Ambrosevierce: Can you explain why you reverted this? https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Aryeh_Deri&diff=1071729532&oldid=1071589102 I ask because I'm not sure - on the one hand the description is fair, on the other I don't know whether it should count as significant enough to be in the first sentence. I'd be curious to know whether your revert was based on a policy or something. Either way I think I've seen it put there and reverted before so it should really be discussed here.
