Post office

[edit]

I wonder whether a defunct post office should go somewhere under social history of Ashbury which has no coverage here. It may well be the very act of going to the local post office was more of an economic and social function in the early 20th century and so more important changes such as the introduction of railways and motorways and their consequences should be covered first before lamenting the loss of a post office. One assumes there is still a lot of economic life in the village and parish as a whole and this should be written about with citations! - Adam37 Talk 16:45, 7 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It's complete trivia and unsourced trivia at that: removed per WP:NOTINDISCRIMINATE. — fortunavelut luna 12:09, 1 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
