Anecdote

[edit]

I went to Green Turn to prepare for my KPMG assessment centre January 2011. I don't boost off my abilities or anything. They prepared so well that I silently developed my competencies in just over a month and passed my assessment day easily.

On assessment day I had etray exercise I think prepared by Cubics for 2 hours, then group exercise 40 mins, numerical reasoning test 20 mins, partner presentation 30 mins and final interview with Director.

I will be joining KPMG in September 2011 London Corporate Finance department. I have been told that I will work in the headquarters at 15 Canada Square, London. It all seems like a dream come true really.

I am originally from India and graduated back home. I was joined in Cambridge university for Linguistic degree (French and German) but decided to quit half way, after I confirmed my position with KPMG.

Easier said then done, I personally found UK environment very tough for overseas students who require work permit (as myself). Confirming position at big four the easy and secured way to confirm 5 years work permit.

Also I really wish to say thanks to Green Turn professionals for their valuable coaching sessions, without them I wouldn't have got the training contract in the career of my choice. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.29.49.96 (talk) 19:25, 8 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
