Malta v Belgium

[edit]

@Bs1jac: - Please check @CricketBelgium twitter. An upcoming series announced at RBCC. Ankurc.17 (talk) 10:19, 22 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Ankurc.17: Thanks. I will get on it later if there is enough information; hopefully Emerging Cricekt will publish something soon - I see they were tagged in the post. (otherwise we'll keep an eye on it). Bs1jac (talk) 10:33, 22 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Ankurc.17: And vs Romania too! Looks like Belgium are doing what they tried to do last year. Bs1jac (talk) 11:08, 22 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed... Hope these don't fall off... Ankurc.17 (talk) 11:10, 22 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
There is a third series to come apparently (10 matches in total; 4 v Malta, 3 v Romania, 3 v Austria). Bs1jac (talk) 11:20, 22 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Bs1jac: Is this series happening? Haven't heard any update or confirmation of tour schedule yet. Ankurc.17 (talk) 06:58, 9 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Ankurc.17: The schedule was announced a while ago (2 games on 17th and 2 more on 18th). Cricinfo don't add these type of tours until the last minute in case they are cancelled, and they often never appear on the ICC calendar. I haven't heard any updates for a while, but I have a suspicion that the series won't happen as COVID cases have increased recently in places like France and Germany and I think there are still new restrictions in place in Belgium. Bs1jac (talk) 07:59, 9 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The two Belgium series in April (vs Malta and Romania) have been postponed; announcement soon hopefully. vs Austria in May is still going ahead at this time. In good news, I hear that Nepal are planning a home ODI series with Namibia in the summer. Bs1jac (talk) 17:56, 11 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Postponments are unfortunate. I thought Central Europe was on its way to recovery. I guess that's not happening.. Ankurc.17 (talk) 08:47, 12 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Postponements

[edit]

Unfortunately the Africa qualifiers have been postponed again to November 2021 (finals in December). Also the West Asia qualifier has been moved to late in the year. No public announcements yet, but this has been circulated between the various associations. Bs1jac (talk) 11:16, 8 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Added the info on tournament postponment. Ankurc.17 (talk) 08:19, 18 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
