Milestones
[edit](I find no historical information whatsoever at the AAP website.)
How old is the "American Association of Publishers" in name?
When was it established --perhaps as the American Book Publishers Council? (we suggest at William S. Dix re 1953 work for ABPC).
Is ABPC/AAP more recent than the 1901 to 1913 American Publishers Association? --P64 (talk) 21:33, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
Reads like an ad/press release
[edit]Besides the shoehorned-in controversy section at the end that doesn't do much to counterbalance, a lot of this article reads like an ad or an official press release by the AAP, and needs major rewriting. I don't know how anyone thought "AAP also honors the very best in professional and scholarly publishing" was encyclopedic language. ~the.one.and.the.only~ (talk) 10:33, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
