2008 results in 2009 ATP rankings

Since the point attribution is going to change, what's going to happen to all the results from 2008 but within the last 52 weeks? I mean: in 2008 the winner of a Master Series tournament receves 500 points, will they be doubled to balance them with the 1000 points given to a 1000 series event winner until the end of 2009?
