"Asuri" in Iraq
[edit]Just deleted a paragraph about the supposed adoption of "Asuri" as an official language in Iraq. This is a literal translation from a Turkish article — as pointed out here, "Asuri" is a Turkish translation of Assyrian. The Assyrian language is a dialect of Aramaic. This is the language that was presumably adopted by Iraq, not Asuri. Asuri is an endangered language spoken by a few thousand people in a rural area of Chhattisgarh, and obviously isn't spoken in Iraq. Please think about edits before you make them.
