Kewullay Conteh

[edit]

Strange. The Atalanta official site has an announcement of Kewullay Conteh joining the squad, but I can't see any mention of it on news sites. And elsewhere it seems that he re-signed with Palermo for two years. Perhaps he is on loan... I haven't found information to clarify his ownership/loan status yet. -- Wantok 02:11, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Name

[edit]

Why Atalanta? The mythical figure has nothing to do with the town or the history of the town either as e.g. towns in sicily which were former colonies. Could anyone explain this? 92.227.89.163 (talk) 13:34, 21 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No particular reason other than the founding members' passion for Greek mythology, as far as I know. --Angelo (talk) 20:10, 21 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Atalanta B.C. Primavera

[edit]

I have suggested merging the article back into Atlanta B.C. as there isn't much here. Govvy (talk) 09:57, 27 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Agree, turn to redirect. Unlike other team with brief information on the youth team, the page merely a squad list and nothing else. Matthew_hk tc 10:40, 27 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation

[edit]

There should probably be some sort of disambiguation thing at the top of the page for other pages named Atalanta, specifically the Greek mythological hero. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atalanta STIK2009 (talk) 03:21, 17 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Pretty sure the Atalanta club crest has borders? Faren29 (talk) 21:17, 9 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
