Documents: yes / no ??

[edit]

There are several documents online which can be references for this article and other related ones. As for myself, I'm inclined not to add them, because they have information which easily pin-points the location of these undisclosed trees or groves.

Either way, I'd still like to hear feedback from other editors on your opinions about adding or omitting documents like that. Wikipedia's design seems to demand references, but preservation of trees like this leans toward concealment of some references. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.253.164.77 (talk) 01:03, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm aware of virtually every document online about Atlas Grove, plus a couple which have expired. They give some information about proximity, but some of the details are still somewhat vague. Enough so that even an elevation or drainage name could mean being located 5,000 feet one way or another. For example, if alluvial drainage is named, the size of the drainage is not specified. In reality, a flat could continue extensively beyond what some folks might imagine.

In some ways, it seems like if any documents were of value for learning, the main page for coast redwoods might almost find more people reading to appreciate the research. I'm inclined not to include most of them. ThreeWikiteers (talk) 22:58, 18 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
