Still done today?

[edit]

Can anyone confirm whether the theatrics are still going on today? Although the news report cited stated that the ceremony would be discontinued, the opposite appears to be the case (see Youtube videos, search tags "Wagah border 2011"). - Windows72106 (talk) 04:59, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oh yes - it's still going on and used as a physical and ceremonial manifestation of political tensions - https://www.mail.com/int/news/world/4641350-pakistanis-turn-flag-ceremony-indian-border-rally.html#.1258-stage-hero1-10 — Preceding unsigned comment added by ChesterAbbotsbury (talkcontribs) 06:10, 2 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Adding details to choreography and ceremony

[edit]

I'd love to see someone more familiar with this lay out the actual movements and gestures to document the format and choreography. Is there any CC video that can be added? — Preceding unsigned comment added by ChesterAbbotsbury (talkcontribs) 06:14, 2 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Although amusing, this is unverified and on balance of probabilities untrue... Fleabite531 (talk) 19:51, 13 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Map

[edit]

The map does not appear to show Wagah or Attari. Confused. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.239.201.148 (talk) 03:47, 12 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Bakr-Eid?

[edit]

Bakr-Eid is piped to Eid al-Adha where Bakr-Eid is not mentioned at all, except in the title of 2 reference articles. Why is the name changed here? --2607:FEA8:FF01:4E54:4C02:51D0:68CD:8EBA (talk) 23:59, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
