Merge[edit]

The way the article is now, it does not make sense to have it as a separate article. The entire event can easily be covered in two or three sentences in Mustafa Al-Kadhimi's article. The intro tells everything, while one sentence is a rumour. The background section is unsourced and not directly connected. Reactions are standard stuff that politicians do, with no wider implications. Infobox adds very little. My redirect was reverted earlier. --Tone 18:03, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This attack is notable enough for its own article. It should be expanded rather than redirected. Jim Michael (talk) 20:02, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Go ahead. Just listing reactions is not a valuable expansion, though (X condemned the attack in a statement). --Tone 21:31, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with Jim, even if the article can be improved the article itself has significant coverage. --NoonIcarus (talk) 21:43, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose: This article is pretty clearly expanded enough to merit existence. Dunutubble (talk) 14:40, 15 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
