Problem

[edit]

The Wikipedia article on Károly Kárpáti states:

'Contrary to some reports, Karpati was never in a labor camp. As an Olympic Champion he was exempt from labor camp service until 1943. He spent the rest of the wartime in Pest with family and friends.' - [1]

So, there's some confusion, to say the least. Norvo (talk) 23:33, 5 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Another Problem

[edit]

The historian Krisztián Ungváry has dismissed the story of Petschauer's death - as recounted in the article - as a "myth," stating that "[i]n actuality, Attila Petschauer perished in a Soviet field hospital." He does, however, concede that all the horrors he'll have gone through before ending up in that hospital may well have contributed to his death: http://index.hu/velemeny/olvir/2013/01/23/a_munkaszolgalat_embertelen_de_tulzo_mozgo_vesztohelynek_nevezni/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.92.141.130 (talk) 13:39, 11 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
