British RAF Officer[edit]

I reverted the amendment to the above of the short description because it is potentially misleading. Does the "British" refer to "RAF" or to "RAF Officer"? The fact is that Koch was an Australian RAF Officer. Further, Koch' relationship with the RAF was for four years, a minuscule proportion of his life. I think that "Pioneer military and civilian pilot" is a better short description, however I don't want to start an edit war.Lexysexy (talk) 00:29, 20 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Comments[edit]

1. Of eighteen on board. Suggest - Of the eighteen people on board

amended to this, and the following phrase changed for simplicity

2. broke the right leg. Suggest - broke his right leg

agreed and done

3. and 13 out of the 31 on board. Suggest - and 13 out of the 31 people on board

agreed and done

4. Australian Government determined. Suggest - Australian Government was determined

I'd prefer to leave this alone. The meaning is that a determination was made (later reversed by the High Court) rather than simply that the Government had an inclination to do something, see Trans Australia Airlines.
