Dallas section

[edit]

Reading the Dallas portion of this article, there seems to be a funny tone to it. The lines saying "Landers starred on Dallas during its highest rated seasons. In the four seasons that Landers appeared frequently, Dallas was the #1 rated show three times (and #2 behind only 60 minutes the other year). It never held the #1 ranking in a season that Landers did not appear." make it sound as though her being on the show had something to do with that success, when in actuality her character was a small role most often hardly seen. The term "starred" is also misleading for similar reasons. The tone sounds more like a fan article for Ms. Landers than an encyclopedic article.

Other Audrey Landers info

[edit]

Having lived in Europe for five years, I know that Audrey and her sister were HUGE stars (see David Hasselhof) in Germany, having recorded a number of successful albums there and appearing on numerous German television shows. I don't know the specifics, but it seems that this is an important aspect of her life that needs to be added.

Yes, it really needs to be added. Just today she sang a song, written for Frank Elstner, in a German TV show celebrating his 75th birthday. He couldn't believe that she was really there after she had sung 30 years before in his last Wetten, dass..? show in 1987. She has released German language albums in 2005, 2006 and 2010. It might even make sense to write an article about her son Daniel Landers as he has sung duets with her. --SamWinchester000 (talk) 22:03, 8 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
