Not a real holiday
- 2004 - Sales tax holiday in Massachusetts. All sales taxes are suspended on purchases of $2500 or less.
Should this "holiday" be in here? Pakopako 13:34, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
National Creamsicles Day
- United States - National Creamsicles Day.
OK, "National S'Mores Day" was a holiday that was mainly pushed by the Hershey Company than the Girl Scouts of America, but what's the source for this? Pakopako 13:38, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

Um, Code talker#Post-war Recognition says that in the US this day is National Code Talkers Day. This page states that it is National Creamsicles Day. Could someone look into this discrepancy? 142.3.5.105 02:14, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
- National Code Talker day was a one time event designated by President Reagan on August 14, 1982[1] therefore it shouldn't be listed on this page. National Creamsicle Day is a silly pseudo-holiday. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 02:24, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
World Lizard Day
Several sources I cannot deem very reliable claim that August 14 is World Lizard Day. If anyone happens to find a good primary source for this, this could be included in the article. I could not find an authoritative source. -- Ohpuu (talk) 14:26, 27 November 2020 (UTC)
