Redirects to X Factor

[edit]

Why do people keep re-directing this page to the X Factor? Just because Jeremy Clarkson appears in Top Gear, you wouldn't redirect him to the programme page. Unlike most X Factor contestants, Austin has appeared on other TV shows and been in a boy band, so his public profile is not exclusively limited to X Factor. He certainly stands up as a notable person who has been in the public eye, even if his profile was not huge before the show, and I see this as unnecessary given that the page makes perfectly clear that he is an X Factor contestant, as well as providing a link to the series page.

{{editprotected}} This gives more information about him. 12bigbrother12 03:34, 2 November 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12bigbrother12 (talkcontribs)

Absolutely. I don't see why the page is protected at all — I don't see why he couldn't have a Start-class article — but certainly it should redirect to the page that actually has some information about him. It should probably have {{R with possibilities}} or {{R to section}} as well. — OwenBlacker | Discussion 14:18, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
