It appears, that even though the article has been fairly recently edited, that no post mid 2008 information has been added, so anyone connected with this article should probably update it to 2011. Also, its worth noting that a series running under the name Australian Endurance Championship (to my knowledge unrelated to the old championship) uses some of the same classes was supposed to run in 2011, but was canceled before round 1. —Preceding unsigned comment added by SchellZ (talkcontribs) 08:17, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The series collapsed in 2008, hence the lack of recent activity. iRace was created from the remains, and continues to this day. Any connections to propsoed 2011 Endurance Championship series were cosmetic only. The classes were not similar to AMC at all, the proposed classes had more in common with the Australian Production Car Championship, a CAMS series. The former Production Touring series that used to run with AMC you may be confusing with is now an iRace category. --Falcadore (talk) 08:43, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
