Is an ADC only a device?

in the 1980's an ACD was a electromehanical switch controlled by a computer and sold along with telephones with specialized buttons to join/leave operator queues, tapes for announcements to the queues, terminal for reconfiguration, etc. After digitization of switches in the 1990's all of these are implemented with purely SW.Cobanyastigi (talk) 07:04, 12 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
