19 September 2013 edits

[edit]

A number of edits by User:Amelie100 on this date seem to be mostly information copied directly from the masterplan for the airport. This includes general information about the local area and economy beyond the scope of this article. I propose the article is reverted to this date and it is rewritten to include a summary of the current detail which does not do the article any justice. Dfadden (talk) 12:04, 10 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have added cleanup and refimprove tags for reasons stated above and lack of in text citations. Dfadden (talk) 00:47, 19 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Missing history info

[edit]

Questions not answered by the current article include:

  • Who ownd/built it (Australian government? RAAF?)
  • Who built aircraft there?

Lara Lea escarpment?

[edit]

I'm not familiar with the local area, but Google turns up no results for a search for "Lara Lea escarpment besides Wikipedia mirrors and Geoscience Australia has never heard of it. I've checked through the history of this article, and it was added in this edit? Are the geography details accurate, and, if so, can a source be cited for them? No response and no sources added for this "fact" in over two years. I'm fairly familiar with the area and have never heard the term. Think I'll remove it. HiLo48 (talk) 03:08, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
